Esme: Sweet with a side of sass

Our Esme is a fun-loving, spunky, and sweet girl who is affectionate beyond belief. She’s our #1 sock stealer and the greatest mama to her puppies! Esme is our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and weighs 16lbs.

Mitt: Sweet as can be!

He may be small in size, but his heart is big and full of love . Gentle as they come, affectionate, and happiest when he is curled up close to his favorite people. Mitt is a AKC registered poodle. He is 9 lbs.

Oh goodness, can you handle those sweet faces? Ramona and Esme's pups are just a day apart so they get to hang out together often, its great socialization! We introduced treats this week (they loved them as you can see!) Which will help so much when we start to work on manding next week. They aren't loving the closed crate time right now but will learn to enjoy their "den" over the next few weeks. We had several real life thunderstorms this past week so we didn't have to use Alexa to recreate the sound for desensitizing purposes. ;) They are a very friendly group and soak up any attention they can get.

Isn't it crazy how much they have changed over the last 2 weeks?! We switched up their play area and they get to spend some time in the little pup pen! They are just starting to explore toys and really notice humans. :) Personalities are starting to peek through, and we couldn't be more in love with what we see. Next week we will work on sound desensitizing, and introduce treats!

So sweet and so tiny! They are just opened their eyes in the last 2 days, they are huge mommy fans and and sniff her out anywhere. ;) We will finish up the super dog program soon!

  • Are your Parents health tested?

    Yes, breeding dogs are health-tested for genetic conditions common to the breed, which helps ensure healthy puppies..

  • What size and generation are your Cavapoos?

    Golden Valley Cavapoos are usually small to medium in size. Generations vary (such as F1, F1b, or multigen), we currently only raise F1 cavapoos.  So both parents are AKC purebreds. See Our Current Litters.

  • How do you match puppies with families?

    This is one of my favorite parts of the process! Matching is often done based on temperament evaluations, family preferences, and application responses to ensure a great fit.

  • Do you offer any support after pickup?

    Yes! We are here to support you during the transition, and we’re always available to answer questions as your puppy grows.

  • When can I take my puppy home?

    Our puppies go to their forever homes at 10 weeks. We keep our little ones two weeks beyond the standard 8 weeks for additional time to wean and to ensure they are well-adjusted, happy, and healthy!

  • Do you offer delivery?

    Golden Valley Puppies is based in Iowa. We offer ground delivery or a flight nanny serive.
